Caledonia, MI Interior Designer

Caledonia of Kent County was officially incorporated as a village in 1888, but records of the first settlers in the area date back to 1838 when they arrived with the Kent family – Kent County’s namesake. The village of Caledonia is a part of the larger Caledonia Township, where much of the area began as farming communities before the industrial revolution. What’s left of “the old days” of this farming society are the several centennial farms in the area. In the village of Caledonia specifically,  the Wilson home on Kinsey and the Kinsey residence on 100th have been designated as historic landmarks.
