Byron Center is a small unincorporated community in Kent County Michigan – located within Byron Township. Byron Township was established in 1836 and has since grown into a popular residential community that offers residents a suburban-rural mix feel and lots of parks.

Byron Center Museum and Historical Society – The society was organized to preserve and protect the history of Byron Township and visitors to the Museum have to opportunity to explore the rich rural history of all 36 square miles of Byron.

Bryon Township Recreation & Community Center – The Byron Township Parks & Rec Department was founded in 1971 and has helped bring the community of Byron together through providing recreational spaces and activities to residents. The Community Center has fitness areas, gyms, multipurpose rooms and more available to members.

Byron Township Fire Department – The Byron Township Fire Department proudly provides Fire, EMS & Rescue services to over 31 square miles. The station is staffed with full-time firefighters Monday through Friday 6 AM to 6 PM.
